Ein is scared by the bounty that Jet is taking in. Ed shows up, and sees that Ein is scared. She takes his job, and growls at the bounty, even biting him. Ed and Ein immediately bonded, and it is shown by this action. Speaking of biting...
When the Black Dog bites, he never lets go. That's Jet Black in a nutshell. Jet, unlike some unmentioned fluffy-haired hottie, can let go of his past. Of course, it took him seven years, but there you have it. I still don't understand Alisa's problem. Jet took care of her. I wouldn't complain if I was well-taken care of. But Jet needs a more stronger-willed woman, one who won't mind him doing everything for her, because if he does too much she will let him know. (Hmm, is this starting to sound like Faye to anyone else?)
Poor, misled, Alisa, who ended up with someone less cooler than Jet. She was right about one thing, though, time doesn't stand still. Not for anyone in Bebop land.
