1) If you've caught it already, forgive me, but I just love how this happened. In episode 24, Hard Luck Woman, Faye's memory is restored while she takes a shower. This indicates her rebirth, for she's 1) naked and 2) being washed in water. Water, a constant symbol in the series, represents purity, cleansing, and rebirth. Nakedness symbolizes a return to our origins - we're naked when we're born, i.e. (well, i really can't put a finger on that one...your turn! lol..)
2) I've also noticed lots of 3's running in the series. For instance, Spike and Jet meet 3 years prior to the beginning of Bebop. Ed leaves her orphanage 3 years prior to the series. Faye is restored 3 years prior to the beginning of the series. Plus, in episode 11, Toys in the Attic, when lesson 4 starts, the hours to Mars start at 82. At the end of that episode, the number is at 64. Well, 82 - 64 = 18. 18 is factored into 6 x 3, or 3 x 6. hmm... what do you think??
