I disagree with your comments regarding the first session in the series. You wrote:
"The old fortuneteller tells Spike he is supposed to be killed by a woman. He said he already was. Considering a woman never killed Spike, the audience should realize that the fortuneteller is not always right. Keep this in mind for, oh, say the last episode."
The fortune teller tells Spike that he will find a woman, and then "death." He does not specify who exactly will die, nor is he incorrect in his prediction; the woman dies, not Spike. The fortuneteller predicts death correctly, and this first episode gives no justification for any viewer to disbelieve the man. After all, he was correct about the red-eyed Coyote appearing in the north, right?
Something to think about.
